0 Frank Vohle 2009 Cognitive Tools 2.0 in Trainer Education Simon Jenkins International Journal of Sport Science and Coaching Multi-Science Publishing Co Ltd 4 4 11 12/2009 The article gives an overview of the didactic design and evaluation of a blended-learning environment of an advanced training course for the „C-Trainer“ license in table tennis organised by a table tennis sports association. The focus lies on new Web 2.0 based applications that serve the function of „cognitive tools“. These actively support the the construction of knowledge. The evaluation in the praxis of sports associations consists of a formative and a summative part and is mainly based on questioning of the participants and instructors (qualitative study). The article con-cludes with an outlook on the further curricular development of the pilot.
