31 Hannah Dürnberger Theresia Meyer Anna-Maria Schmidt 2010 Abschließende Evaluation des Projektes i-literacy Institut f�r Medien und Bildungstechnologie Augsburg UniversitÃ¤t Augsburg i-literacy, Evaluation, Online-Befragung, Usability-Evaluation, Informationskompetenz   <p>  </p><p>In this project report we focus on the summative evaluation of the project i-literacy. i-literacy (short for information-literacy) is a service that aims at helping students to aquire information literacy skills and abilities to work scholarly. It consists of multiple elements, such as tutorials, a website, consulting hours and e-mail-consultation. The project was planned and developed since the beginning of 2007. After several analysis of needs, we started to implement the service in the summer of 2008, finishing the implementation in fall 2009 by finalizing the website. This study aims at evaluating the implementation of the program as well as the acceptance of the service among the students. It also seeks to identify deficits of the program as a whole as well as specifically of the website. It takes a closer look onto the usability of the website and also focuses on the numbers of users. The evaluation methods consist of an heuristic evaluation, a thinking-aloud-testing, an online-survey plus interviews and the use of logfiles as well as user-statistics of the counseling hours.
